This means when your read your email, whether at home or on the road, all incoming and outgoing emails are encrypted before transmission to prevent eavesdropping and to protect your login credentials.
NetMagi Systems WebMail uses a "self-signed" certificate to provide this encryption, and you'll need to let your web browser know that it's "ok" to trust this connection.
